2026 First Day Hike @ High Falls State Park
Join hikers across the country as they hit the trails on New Year’s Day! Morning (10AM) or afternoon (2PM), both hikes will start on the 0.5 mile Historic Trail (ADA) with the option of continuing on to the 2.5 mile Tranquility Trail (moderately rated). Receive a sticker to celebrate your participation in a First Day Hike! There will be a K-9 Demonstration and Chick-fil-a & Black Smoke Coffee will be on site.
$5 parking fee required per vehicle. Meet at the Park office.
