Explore Stories

Did you know that if you rearrange the letters in Forsyth, the word “story” appears right in its center? We don’t think that’s a coincidence, not when our community is full of so many wonderful stories to tell! So many in fact that we realized we’re going to need help if we’re to tell them all. That’s where our storyteller comes in. She’s a born and raised Forsythian who has seen and heard it all, and truly we couldn’t have found a better voice more suited to the task. She’s taken over storytelling duties for us, and hopefully with her at the helm you’ll soon know as we do why story is our ‘middle name!’

Meet Our Storyteller!

Hey y’all! I’m so tickled to be here, though I can’t say as I know much about what I’m supposed to be doin’… They tell me I’m here to tell stories, and, well, I reckon I can do that. I do know a lot of them! Like that time ol’ man Bridges electrocuted himself installin’ a burglar alarm. What a man of his age was doin’ on a ladder anyway I couldn’t tell you—he must’ve been 90 if he were a day! A worker, that one. Against his religion, he’d have said, to pay someone to do somethin’ he could darn well do himself! But I’m gettin’ away from things. Point is I’ve been around for a while and seen a thing or two, and I guess if it’s stories you’re wantin’, I can accommodate ya. Just don’t be expectin’ no “Once upon a time”—life isn’t a fairytale, and it’s real stories I’ll be tellin’!
