Cemeteries are memorials to the past that offer a unique view of our history, culture, and way of life. Their existence adds much to our understanding of the history of Georgia and its people. Today’s Forsyth City Cemetery began as a church burial yard. Through a patch work of land acquisitions it now encompasses roughly 26 acres.
