Monroe County-Forsyth War Memorial

This memorial standing at Courthouse Square commemorates the World War I centennial.  It reads:  “Dedicated to all Monroe Countians who served our country and in memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice.  They died that others may live free.  Erected 2010 by the citizens of Monroe County.”
