2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Forsyth with major commercial projects, new businesses, and business expansions. Here are a few projects we are looking forward to
Our first feature on the list is the beloved pastry shop, Treats with Lenise. What began as a cottage bakery has now evolved into a full-on “brick and mortar” bakery and event space! Treats with Lenise reflects owner Lenise Leknes’ passion for pastry and togetherness. For now, you can find Treats with Lenise at 53 N. Lee St., while they work on their new expanded space at 33 W. Johnson St. Exciting things to come and a sweet start to the new year that we are all looking forward to!
Two years in the making, Forsyth Ship & Print Co. is a one-stop print shop and shipping business and so much more! Owners Mike and Kimber Cole have shared their goals of including computers, passport photos, digital fingerprinting, as well as digital and physical mailboxes to their services. “We want to be a service to the community.” Mike said. “As veterans (Air Force) we both know what it is to serve and we truly enjoy it.”
As a business dedicated to serving the public since 1996, Storage Master @ Forsyth marks the company’s third location in Middle Georgia located between Volume Chevrolet and the (coming soon!) Fairfield Inn on N. Lee St. Storage Master offers climate-controlled units, outdoor drive-up units, and spots for long-term parking of large vehicles.
Open 24/7, Fast Track is a fully equipped convenience store and Shell gas and diesel station located at the crossroads of GA Hwy 42 N and I-75(exit 188). Short on time? You can grab a sandwich, fried chicken, pizza, wings, and a dose of caffeine! Store owner, Dipak Pate, shared that Firehouse Subs is opening right next door, so you will have plenty of opportunities to fuel up in the new year!
With more projects to come, 2026 is shaping up to be a busy year for the City of Forsyth. Stay tuned for the exciting business ventures to come in the new year!
